A fundamental aim of SAPHI is to create a brilliant independent business while doing our bit to retain as much value as possible within the immediate local economy, as opposed to benefitting overseas shareholders and subtracting value from local economies.
SAPHI is proudly 100% independent with zero institutional or venture capital funding.
A further aim of SAPHI is to achieve the accessibility and consistency of big brands, while still delivering a local high quality artisanal product, amazing hospitality and being an active and genuine part of the local community.

Pearl Espresso
SAPHI's Pearl blend is our very own specialty espresso blend.
Similar to a pearl forming around a grain of sand, the Pearl Blend is a representation of each layer of effort, time, energy, trial & error, risk, among others over two decades, all which have formed something we think is beautiful in the end.
With tasting notes of dark chocolate, pecan and a hint of citrus on the finish, this is an exception coffee.
